This has to be one of the most interesting incarnations of social news feeds I've seen yet. They took a construct we're all familiar with, the magazine and turned the bits and bytes into sexy, simple and engaging UI. No more Facebook or Tweetdeck browsing for me. When you try it you'll immediately get it. It is amazing. I wonder how they might package it for smaller devices.
This should serve as a wake up to publishers and inspiration to entrepreneurs.

Reinventing Social Media
Not much I could add that he doesn't cover in his TED talk. Good one.

Creativity through Powerpoint
Yes most people bemoan the powerpoint presentation but I think of presentations as the opportunity to bring your ideas and knowledge to life. I used to be terrible at presentations and could still improve but getting the story down is 75% of it. Below are great tips about making your presenations more memorable. A couple of things I didn't see him capture here which are important.
- Understand your audience (who are they, why do they care)
- Develop the story (came through a little in CRAP)
- Pick a time when you stop developing the idea or work and focus your efforts on building the presentation.
The above should help with clarity and consistency when it is time for the show to begin.
I love the 75+ words = Document.
